Learning To Snow Ski

Now that I am living in Mongolia with my mum and dad we decided that we would learn to snow ski. today was my first snow skiing lesson. My mum had learned to ski before many years ago and this was my dads first time learning to ski as well.

Paige And Her Hot Air Balloon

For school Paige's year level have been learning about transport. For home work Paige had to choose a mode of transport, design a costume and then make the costume at home. The grade two students decided to do a parade and show off their handy work. Paige decided she wanted to do her project on a hot air balloon so after the first failed attempt in making her costume we consulted Ben and Auntie Lucy for ideas and we came up with a wonderful costume which you could say was inspired by the Australian flag. It was wonderful to see so many different ideas when it came to making transport costumes, I think the children deserve a clap and the parents deserve a medal for helping the children with all the construction.

Paige Theading A Needle

Sometimes keeping Paige busy can be really hard. The words "I am bored" I seem to hear a lot lately. This time I set Paige a task and she seemed to find it quite fun. I had been mending a dress when Paige showed some interest in sewing so I taught her how to thread a needle and she decided she wanted to give it ago. I think the pictures are very cute. It took her about a half an hour to complete the task but in the end she got there.

Paige's 5th Birthday

Paige's 5th Birthday Party was held at an indoor play center where she had lots of fun running, climbing and sliding at the play centre. When it came to singing happy birthday Paige decided it was a bit loud and put her fingers in her ears.
